Simple, you put on muscle, it fills up skin. That’s a simple thing, right? The issue is naturally, once can only put on so much muscle. So if you lost 100lbs then you put on 10lbs of muscle, that isn’t even beginning to fill the skin you stretched out!
Your only option – surgery
You did it, you gained all the weight, now you have to deal with the consequences and suffering to erase the damage. Surgery is the only option.
According to most doctors I have talked to and read articles by, they recommend after weight loss to maintain the “goal weight” for six or more months before the surgery. And do not get it done prematurely, meaning before you’re “done” with your weight loss. What does this mean in bodyfat terms?
Generally speaking, for males I would recommend getting the surgery done when at about 10% bodyfat. For females, around 20%. This will also take some weight off of you, depending of course on how much excess skin you had.
