There she is, the one looking fine up at the dumbbells. Do you try to ask her if she needs a spot, or do you just start ego lifting to try to get her attention?

Just because she’s seen you creeping almost every day in the gym, that doesn’t mean she isn’t into you. You just have to make sure she knows she likes you.

Worse case, you catch a couple peeks and go about your life after being told to get lost. That has to account for something, right?

Before you figure out if she’s even worth chasing, let’s go over some of the very reasons why you should date a girl who lifts.

#1 – She Won’t Ruin Your Diet

Nothing sucks worse than trying to stick to your crappy boiled chicken and steamed broccoli, but now your girl wants a pizza. If you get the pizza, you’ll probably eat some because you have no willpower, but what if she never even wanted bad food to begin with?

Nothing screams “marry me” more than her offering to cook you dinner; with nutritious foods at that.

Seriously, she is trying to keep that body that lured you into her hooks. Why would she want to ruin that?

#2 – She Will Help Bring in Groceries

Depending if she is trying to become a bikini model or a savage, she will at least help you bring in all of those chicken breasts.

She’s probably already stronger than you, so let’s see if she can get all of the groceries in one trip.

Remember, if you can’t carry all of the groceries in one trip, it doesn’t count.

Look at that rack! She can front squat perfectly, so why bother her?

A woman who can walk into the gym and dominate it like she’ll dominate you is full of self confidence.

She doesn’t take crap from anyone, and she definitely won’t let you take those dumbbells.

#4 – You Will Have a Gym Partner Who Doesn’t Flake

Not only will she get everything ready for both of you to go, she won’t let you skip leg day ever again.

Having someone there that actually cares that you lift properly is a bonus.

#5 – She Will Make the Best Cheat Meals Ever

When it’s time for a refeed, a chick who lifts knows how to do it the best.

All of the steak, lobster, and ice cream you could possibly handle.

Twice per month only, but it’ll cost you.

#6 – You Can Complain About Cardio Together

How awesome would it be to complain to someone who actually may listen?

The dude next to you doesn’t care, and probably doesn’t even know you’re talking to him.

Next time you both jump on the treadmill, give her a sincere compliment before you start whining like a girl.

#7 – She is Mentally Strong

You see how she just deadlifted more than you? That takes mental fortitude.

She is determined, she knows what she is doing, and she is going to do what it takes to accomplish it.

#8 – She’s Not Afraid to Show Off Her Hard Work

Seriously bro, check her out. All of the yoga pants, sports bras, and other clothes that companies send her to post on her Instagram.

She likes to show it off, so you better be okay with other creepers looking. Don’t be the jealous type, let everyone enjoy.

Her DMs aren’t as dry as you may think.

#9 – She Gets It

No more getting yelled at for trying to go to the gym at midnight.

She understands that sometimes you have to get help with those calluses unless you wear gloves like a girl. She understands not to smell the blender bottle you left stuffed under your car seat, and she definitely understands the racing stripes you left in your pants after heavy squat day.

Seriously, marry her.

#10 – She’s Probably Stronger Than You

I’ve hinted at this before, but I would place my bets that she probably lifts more than you; and makes it look better.

Take a note from her book and start getting some consistent training in so it doesn’t look like you’ve hired her to stand by you.

#11 – She Sets Goals And Accomplishes Them

She knows what she wants in life and goes after it. The mental fortitude that she’s grown in the gym carries over into all parts of life.

Get your butt in gear before she finds someone that actually lifts.

#12 – She Thrives Under Stress

You know that time you let her get stuck under the bar on the bench? She wasn’t worried… in fact, she handled it better than you would.

Chicks that lift strive under stress and try to find more of it. If you somehow swoon her into liking you, hold on because it’s going to be a long ride.

Of course, I was going to talk about some bedroom acrobatics. Everything is going to be better; inside and out.
