A two-time World Cup and Olympic-level swimmer from Germany, Maik Wiedenbach arrived in the United States on a swimming scholarship from Fordham University, at which he graduated from with a Bachelor in History in addition to an equivalent degree in German Literature from Germany.
After obtaining his NASM, BSA, and AFPA certifications, Maik founded Maik Wiedenbach Personal Training (formally known as Adler Training and German Body Engineering) and successfully turned it into one of the most sought-after training and nutritional services in Manhattan and East Hampton, serving clients in top tier facilities while also maintaining a teaching position at NYU.
Since then, he has established himself as a respected fitness, bodybuilding, and nutrition expert within the industry. Maik is also the author of multiple books and articles on health and fitness, as well as being a featured consultant on several print and digital publications such as Muscle and Fitness, Forbes Magazine, LA Times and Craine’s.
