I grew up as a fast paced city kid in Rockville, MD. Living close to huge cooperations and research buildings, I was destined to become a neurosurgeon from the big city.

High school came around, and I was 5ft 7in and 89lbs (1.7018 meters and 40.36 kg). My mother often got in trouble by the law due to my weight, even know it wasn’t her fault. I was the kid that could drink 12 sodas and eat 4 bags of chips in a day but couldn’t eat whole foods no matter how hard I tried.

I was an extreme geek, reading every book coming out to the market and making school my entire life. Also I was in a very challenging private school I was granted a scholarship to, all courses were college level and accelerated, so I had hours of homework and no time for anything else. Most of the time I would even forget to eat.

Age 17 came around and I was sick of seeing every bone in my body. I decided to put my health before everything. I graduated early by walking in my school’s office and taking my diploma, I started lifting, hard. I bulked hard core and still do. I began to follow flexible diet, eighty percent clean foods, and 20 percent of what I wanted.

I was expecting the max weight I’d ever get was 110lbs. After almost 2 years of manipulating my macronutrients, sleep habits, and switching to an upper lower split, I am now sitting at a proud 147lbs (66.7 kg) at 13% body fat and will forever keep lifting for the rest of my life.

Changing my physique and health is a life-changing experience. So life-changing that I am now pursuing a career in nutrient absorption research and endocrinology residing in a much calmer state, Iowa. I plan to change the fitness industry by expressing that there are no strict rules to accomplish your goals, I am tired of lifters seeing that there is only one way to do things, which is completely false.

The key to success in any realm of fitness is balance. Satisfying the mind, body, and spirit and completely dropping the over compulsive strict attitude. I look forward to meeting the legends of bodybuilding and how the fitness industry evolves and hopefully I will be a contributing factor to a better fitness industry.
